Bruxzir Esthetic Dental Restorations

BruxZir Esthetic

  • Lifelike vitality, engineered for the anterior
  • Optimized combination of strength and translucency
  • Enhanced shade matching for predictable results

BruxZir® Esthetic Solid Zirconia is a new category of dental zirconia made possible by years of research & development. Advanced colloidal processing animates BruxZir Esthetic zirconia with high-performing strength and lifelike translucency, and superior shading technology renders enhanced shade matching and consistency for even more beautiful results. Named in Dentistry Today’s Top 100 Products in 2018, BruxZir Esthetic zirconia is a revelation for anterior cases and further proof of why BruxZir Solid Zirconia is the No. 1 prescribed brand of full-contour zirconia.

BruxZir Solid Zirconia

  • Solid zirconia restoration with no porcelain overlay
  • Ideal for bruxers who have destoryed natural teeth or previous dental restorations
  • Esthetic alternative to cast gold and metal occlusal PFMs
  • Smooth surface wears gently on opposing teeth
BruxZir® Solid Zirconia is a monolithic zirconia crown, bridge, screw-retained implant crown, inlay or onlay with no porcelain overlay. First launched as being “More Brawn Than Beauty,” the material was originally intended to provide a durable, more esthetic alternative to posterior metal occlusal PFMs or cast gold restorations for demanding situations like bruxers, implant restorations and areas with limited occlusal space. Now, thanks to the new BruxZir Shaded formulation, BruxZir restorations exhibit improved translucency and color similar to natural dentition, making them a restorative option in the anterior as well. Complete color penetration all the way through the restorations ensures greater shade consistency and prevents any shade changes after occlusal adjustment.

Designed and milled using CAD/CAM technology, BruxZir Solid Zirconia is sintered for 2.5 hours at 1,580 degrees Celsius to achieve optimum strength. The final BruxZir crown or bridge is then stained and glazed to a smooth surface.

IPS e.max® CAD Dental Restorations

IPS e.max® CAD

  • Virtually perfect contacts and occlusion
  • Delivers outstanding esthetics and precision fit
  • Computer-assured anatomical consistency
  • High flexural strength allows for conventional cementation
IPS e.max® is made of monolithic lithium disilicate ceramic and delivers outstanding esthetics and precision fit. An affordable alternative to PFMs and zirconia-based restorations, IPS e.max can be pressed or milled using Enhanced CEREC® software and the Sirona inLab® MC XL milling machine.

Prescribe IPS e.max to achieve optimal esthetics, virtually perfect contacts and occlusion, and impressive strength. Its unique lithium disilicate ceramic provides flexural strength of 360–400 MPa, making it the ideal high-strength solution for single-unit anterior or posterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, screw-retained implant crowns, 3-unit anterior bridges or restorations with minimum preparation dimensions.

Conventionally cement using resin ionomer cements or bond for maximum retention on nonretentive preparations. Lithium disilicate ceramic is biocompatible and provides more than double the flexural strength of IPS Empress® Esthetic.
